It really is the little changes in our lives...I now make it a policy to walk my cart back to the grocery store. It keeps people from crashing into them in parking places and adds a few steps to my day.
I keep dried fruit around the house (dried Mango, Papaya & Grapefruit) for when I get a craving for something sweet. It's better than indulging in candy.
I bought a bartender's "ounce" spout for my wine (it pours a perfect ounce). I cap our open wine bottle and never have more than 3 ounces in one night. This keeps alcoholic calories down and limits my wine consumption to a healthy amount.
I highly recommend finding some REALLY good AGED Balsamic Vinegar and using it for salad dressing. I know it can get expensive, but we are worth it and the taste is so good you don't need olive oil to make an awesome salad. There are flavored ones as well. This is NOT your everyday vinegar.
