Always keep a gym bag packed in your car. You never know when plans fall through or you get an unexpected schedule change. Hit the gym!
Set yourself up with some goals. What do you want to achieve? It could be # of minutes per week or # of miles in a month. The desire increases-I have to get out there and work on it.
Want a sense of an accomplishment? Hike. Locate a hill nearby, climb to the top. Get the reward of beautiful scenery when you get there. And to boot, it burns a crazy amount of calories.
Dance parties with the family are a great way to share laughter, make some memories and burn those calories. My daughter will even get dressed up for them and it adds to the festive nature.
Around an hour before dinner time, I typically get the munchies. That is now my tea time. Use Decaf Green Tea and it adds to your water intake.
Use those weekends or your days off to get some long workouts in. During the week, schedules get hectic and you may lose valuable time to get some good exercise in. People tend to eat more on the weekends, as well. You won't have to feel guilty.
