Measure it!

We buy our portion bags at a dollar store. We then measure portions of cereal, snacks etc as it comes into the house. The Kids now only eat one serving and so do the adults.

Night time munchies

I get the late night munchies. If I cave, I now choose frozen fruit instead of ice cream. A nice crisp /dehydrated Apples or Pear instead of chips... and keep carrots and other veggies when i want that salty "binge" with no more than 2 TBsp of Dressing... I get more fruits and veggies this way.. an...

Donuts?!?!

It is ok to eat one... It is just better to eat *only* one and do this no more than once a month.... :) Yummy but oh my, we really don't have to have them weekly at church, business meetings etc...

Water it down...

I have learned, i still enjoy kool-aid with about 1/3 more water than recommended.. i just pour myself 2/3 a cup of kool-aid then add some cold water... I also make 1 gal of Kool-aid at a time, and only put in 1 1/2- 1 3/4 a cup of sugar in it... my family and i rarely notice the difference
