Put down the salt shaker!

A high salt diet can cause high blood pressure, heart disease, and stroke. Your average intake of salt per day should be at or below 2300 mg, which is equal to only one teaspoon! Most foods these days already have salt added to them, so next time you pick up the salt shaker, think twice!
