On my day off from work, I cook up several protein dish items for the week. I store in separate containers and make enough for lunches, too. Add the fresh veggies at serving time. Less time spent in kitchen during the week, more time for exercise.
I bring a pair of sneakers to work and divide my lunch break to have time to eat and time to walk around the campus.
On Sundays, I prepare my meat/protien portions for the week and store in separate containers. I also cut up fresh veggies and store in resealable containers for easy serving throughout the week. Just reheat when it's time to eat.
During these warm summer months, it's a good rule of thumb to try to drink at least one glass of water every hour from the time you wake up to the time you do your outdoor cardio work-out. It has helped me with focus and stability.
