It seems as soon as I reach out and touch someone's life, mine is blessed. I have a great feeling for helping Be it doing some laundry left in an apt. dryer of a busy mother she had forgotten to finish, or holding a fussy infant in church, when tired parents have been up all night. I know I had help with my 5 children, including triplets, when I needed it. Now I can gladly give back. They don't know where my strength comes from? I'm thankful I can return the favor to others.
lots of people when they are looking for something sweet to eat they go and grab a 110calorie cookie.That cookie does not fill you up so you go and grab another 110 calorie cookie. Maybe you'll get another cookie. If you did you just ate 330 calories in cookies that will do nothing but harm your diet. Instead of grabbing that cookie why don' you grab a can of minute maid light lemonaid? It is only 5 calories and i dont know about you but its very tasty and keeps me full so i won't want a cookie.
I just discovered Kellogg's Fiber Plus bars with coconut, chocolate and caramel. I love Girl Scout Samoas but they're aren't exactly healthy. I used to put them in the fridge because to me they tasted heavenly that way. Now I put the fiber bars in the fridge and they taste very much like the Samoas only healthier and with more fiber. Woot!
Sometimes if I'm coming up the stairs empty-handed (which is not all that often) I stop about 6 or 7 steps up and do 10 push-ups. I broke both arms as a child and it's my least favorite exercise, so I figure anywhere anytime will do!
I made pictures of myself that reflected my ideal weight to hang on my fridge. When I open the door, I think about whether the foods I choose will help me achieve this new identity, or make me wait to reach my goals.
I was trying to get in more fruits and vegetables in a day so I started adding 1 to 1.5 c spinach with my fruit and protein powder to get some extra veggies...you can't taste it at all. I generally get 5 servings of fruits and veggies for my breakfast alone.
