Warning Sparkpeople is addicting!!!

First thing I do in the mornings is exercise. Then get on Sparkpeople, then eat breakfast. Then I'm on Sparkpeople when I get home from work, and then before bed. On weekends it's worse!!! But I totally love Sparkpeople. They have kept me so motiviated!!!

If you have high cholesterol....

don't stop exercising. I got off track this summer with my exercise and my eating. My numbers went up. Now I'm on higher meds. KEEP UP YOUR EXERCISE!!!!!

Eat slower!!!

I suggested a challenge more teams I co-lead to eat slowly/slower. I got so many positive feedbacks!! I was doing the challenge too and low and behold!!! It works!!! I got full faster and I even left food on my plate!!! Now if I can do it, anyone can!!!

use for baby wipes

I use baby wipes as makup remover. It removes makeup, even eye makeup, mascara, eyeliner, whatever!! I buy the 3 pack at walmart for $6.00. Pretty cheap compared to eye makeup remover!! Great for camping too!!

chocolate craving

I found a new item to eat when a chocolate craving comes. Cookie Crisp cereal!! The chocolate chip has only 100 calories, 1 gram of fat in a 3/4 cup!! This really helped me Saturday when I wanted chocolate and the 3/4 cup was enough!!

a reward

I put quaters in a small jar everytime I stay in my calorie range, exercise, drink my water and eat my fruits and veggies daily. When i'ts full I go out and buy myself a "reward"!!

when I feel defeated

When I feel like giving up I put on clothes that did not fit me in the past. Like a part of jeans or a shirt/blouse you saved and can wear again. I have 2 pairs of jeans I kept for 5 years, hoping some day I could get in them. Now I can!!! I put them on and look at myself and say, YOU CAN DO THIS!!!

I drink water when I cook

I always have my water with me when I cook. If I feel the urge to "nibble" I drink water. This really fills me up and I don't eat as much at meal time!!
