Creating a positive atmosphere

The physical as well as mental place that we come from defines us. We often can't control who we work for, or with, but the rest of the time, we can strive for personal happiness

NEVER, ever give up!

NO MATTER WHAT, NEVER GIVE UP. You will succeed if you just keep showing up! I've applied this recently to exercising. Without allowing myself to dwell on past negative experiences, I just put on my workout cloths and ' show up '. Sometimes, my experience is less and other times more, but I notice it is getting easier and easier, the more I 'show up'. Good Luck

One moment at a time'

Three things to consider when you find yourself slipping back.
1) Review the reasons you set your goals..
2) Ask yourself, "Am I spending plenty of time with people who support my goals?"
3) Ask yourself, "Am I willing to love myself enough to achieve my goals 'this moment'?"

Make a game of curing "Excuses"

Make it a game to overcome the obstacles that get in the way of achieving a desired outcome. For me, one was getting the other cooks in the family to cook vegetables for dinner along with the starch and protein on the evenings that I work late.

Counting habit chnges

I try to take note of when I've replaced a bad habit with a good one or removed a bad habit altogether. This way when the scale doesn't move I can remember that my goal is fundamentally overall health, and the weight loss will come.
