I have a pair of pants one size larger than my current size so I'll now how it feels to have loose clothing - then I can imagine better what it will feel like to be at my goal size.
Write a Thank You note to anyone that is helpful, inspirational, or kind. Write a note to yourself, the check-out clerk, the mail deliverer. Perk = the time spent writing is time not mindless munching. It's learning to be in the moment. Bless another and you bless yourself. Be well.
When everything seems to fall apart physically, mentally, emotionally, I find it's because I'm Tired.
May be a lack of:restful sleep, lack of peace-n-quiet, or stress overload.
Stretch! Relax on the floor or chair & stretch a muscle or two.
Improve blood flow, add oxygen, feel energy!
Don't skimp on sleep by trying to add more events to the days. It's a stressor & gets everying out of balance.
Don't repeatedly hit the snooze button, either go to sleep earlier or take a nap. Don't let the snooze button become a habit that needs broken.
Find one thing you are happy you accomplished. Find one reason to give yourself a pat-on-the-back. Little successes make big successes. Are you reading this? There's multiple reasons right here; you sparked today, you connected, you tried something new, you were kind to yourself.
