If you haven't already, you have to try interval training for your cardio. It makes the time fly, burns more calories, and gets you in better shape. Try one minute of intense activity followed by 2 minutes of recovery for 30 minutes.

Exercise is the key to feeling great. We all know that, but some days, we just don't feel motivated to move AT ALL. My trick, on those days, is to do at least the warm-up portion of the DVD, walking/running program, etc. Stop after that if you want, but I bet you won't!!

Exercise- Make it a Daily Commitment
Making the daily commitment to daily exercise has truly been the turning point for me. I have tried for 20-30 years to get a consistent "right" mindset. No matter how hard I tried in the past, I would always 'fall off track' for one reason or another. Making the "JUST DO IT" motto a part of my daily routine has truly been the trick.

Exercise and Food Calorie Awareness I keep track of the calories I burn during exercise. Then when I think about eating a treat, I think about how much additional exercise I would need to work off the same number of calories, and ask myself "is it worth it?"

A high salt diet can cause high blood pressure, heart disease, and stroke. Your average intake of salt per day should be at or below 2300 mg, which is equal to only one teaspoon! Most foods these days already have salt added to them, so next time you pick up the salt shaker, think twice!
