If you're like me, you love the Swiffer Wetjet cleaning fluid, but don't like the cleaning pads. They just don't seem to go very far. So, I just use an old rag instead. The bottom of the wet jet clings to the rag and it actually cleans better than the swiffer pads. Beware, it does snag the rag a little, so be sure to use an old rag.
This might sound silly, but I know some people out there don't make their bed in the morning. It only takes a minute or two and it gives you a boost for the day because you can already check something off your list! It really is a great way to start the day!
It is important to remember that our lives are of a short duration. We only have so much to "spend". It is our choice how we spend it. Why not spend it on the positive side - celebrating everything and savoring the moments, no matter how mundane. That is the key to true happiness.
I am a stay at home mom now, but when I worked in the office, I found it hard to drink enough water. So I bought a 32 oz bottle and marked the hours of the day on the side, telling me where I needed to be at what time. It was a lot easier to keep up!
Need that evening snack? Light Butter Popcorn is awesome, especially if you add a little Molly McButter. I have found it to be a great snack, and the Molly McButter is fat free and only 5 calories per teaspoon.
This might sound silly, but sometimes when I am really tracking my portions, I will eat food from a measuring cup. I do this with cottage cheese, for instance, or even frozen yogurt. It allows me to know exactly how much I am eating, and it helps that the measuring cup is smaller than a bowl.
