It took me a while to realize that this is one of my secrets, but I have come to realize that give tips when asked, helping a fellow sparkler in the panic board, or in a private message is in turn motivational because it reminds me where I have been and how far I have come. In turn, it motivates me to keep going. I don't want to let myself down.
One of the best ways I found to increase my veggie intake was to explore new kinds by making one day a week vegetarian. I explored new recipes, which had me trying new vegetables or preparing them in new ways. I still like my lean proteins, but I also look forward to my veggie days too.
Being negative starts to become a habit. We pick at ourselves so much that we forget how far we have come and our good traits. I like to write on my mirror with a white board marker to remind me of the good things, although lip liner works too. :) Don't worry; it comes off easy.
