Don't skip logging in certain foods or that extra cookie, etc. You are fooling anyone including yourself. Be Honest and you will know why or why not you are losing weight.
Never place anything in your mouth before weighing it and logging it into your handwritten journal or Spark - it gives you time to think "Do I really want/need this"
Silly as it may sound - make sure your calorie intake is enough for your calorie burn - to little food intake makes your body hold those pounds.
When I feel down on myself, because of a bad day or bad workout - I remember there is always someone else out there who can't workout at all and wishes they could or is having a worse day than I. I am always lucky to be having a better day than them and was able to workout.
This is an awesome weight to burn calories and tone up. I would suggest it to everyone.
By finding an exercise buddy - who knows your plan - either virtual or in person. You have someone to be accountable to, besides to yourself. You are more likely to follow through on your plans.
I find that when my motivation is starting to twindle down - I remember all my Spark friends who have such faith in me and I remember how far I have come.
If you eat out never go places that you don't have a coupon for...check out the newspaper flyers or magazine flyers you receive in the mail - also check out their websites.
I always remember no matter how bad I think things are for me - there is someone out there who has it worse. It makes me feel thankful.
Be mindful of your eating. Think before you put anything in your mouth. Question yourself are you really hungry or just bored, anxious, nervous, etc. While you are at it - log that food too before it goes into your mouth - not after the fact.
