Be totally honest when tracking your food. Weight out/Measure your food - don't think you are fooling your body, just because you enter lesser amounts on the nutritional tracking. Your body knows what you eat and what you exercise.
Watch your sodium intake. Know that your weight will most likely increase after eating out as most restaurants use more salt than one would normal suspect. Salt brings out the taste of foods. Increase water intake the day you plan on going out and the following day also.
Always get your exercise in first thing in the morning - Why? If you don't there are always other things that will become a priority - giving you excuses not to exercise - Exercising first things frees up the day for the rest of life to happen. JUST DO IT!!!

It is very important when returning from a vacation to remember certain things. Traveling is fun, but it racks havoc on the body. Sleeping, eating, exercising, and everything else isn't the same when you are at home in your "normal" environment. When you hop on the scale after returning - consider added salt, less water, less intense exercise. All things to consider before berating yourself for overdoing vacation - just try to get back to normal ASAP after returning.
