Gift Bags

This year I am using reusable bags from my grocery store as gift bags. They currently have some nice ones with a Christmas theme. They are not anymore expensive than the other gift bags and will be reusable.

Eat what you have before you buy more

I've stopped going to the store to buy more food when we already have too much in the cupboards and fridge. I now wait until I NEED to go to the store which is usually once a week for fresh fruit and veggies.
I find that we aren't throwing out as many expired or rotten food items. Plus I don't spend as much when I'm at the store because I know what I need and I don't. Also my kitchen is more organized and I'm healthier.
AND I've notice a couple hundred dollars in savings.

Bring Lunch to Work

Something as simple as bringing your lunch to work really helps in cutting out unnecessary calories daily as well as saving you money. Fast food and quick take out meals tend to have a lot of calories in them and it is very easy to overindulge. Pack a well balanced meal...a sandwich and fruit, last night's leftovers, soup and a salad etc. I am sure you won't miss eating out daily after you see the pounds start to drop off. emoticon

Taste every single bite.

I've found that if I eat slowly and really savor every bite I feel satisfied. This means concentrating on what I am eating and not on the TV show or some other thing.

Special Body Wash

I buy special, extra fresh-smelling body wash that I am only allowed to use after a workout. It's a great daily reward and feels sooooooooooooo great!
