ORDER A KIDS MEAL..today my co-workers ordered lunch from a local deli, i ordered a kids turkey and cheese on wheat with organic baby carrots instead of chips..300ish calories..& im really full..even if you go to mcdonalds & get a kids meal [not the big kids meal, the regular one] & get apple dippers & diet soda, you get your taste for mickey d's with WAY fewer calories..i dont recommend doing this often with fast food but every once in a while wont hurt..its all about good choices & moderation
before i started sparkpeople i ate fast food ALL the time...its been hard starting out and staying away from it...i started a *100 days with no fast food* challenge to keep me motivated and also i leave my debit card in the back seat of my car under the floor mat, if its not easily accessible im less likely to stop and pick up something i dont need...sound extreme? it is! but this is coming from a person that is trying to break really bad eating habits and hey, its working!!
my rule of thumb, if i havent used it in 6 months, no matter what it is (clothes, makeup, etc) i throw it out or donate it...it keeps me from having excess stuff that i havent used in 5 years cluttering up for no reason...i figure if i havent used it in 6 months, i dont need it and its taking up space...im a neat freak though :)
