Keeping food on the stove or on the counter is a great way to keep from over eating. We never put our meals on the table. Everyone has to get up and prepare their plate. Usually, they are too lazy to go for seconds so no one over eats.
We all have problems that we use as excuses not to exercise, but will not exercising or living a healthy life, make those problems go away? I think not. I think it makes you feel worse. So the next time you decide not to exercise, ask yourself whether that will make your problem go away.
Don't let others keep you from achieving your goals. We all have friends who are also heavy and they say that there is no reason to do what we are doing. They are only saying it because they don't have the guts to go through it. You tell them you do have a reason- a longer life.
Never look at this lifestyle change as making a compromise; the only compromise your making is an unhealthy lifestyle for a healthy one and unhealthy foods for healthy foods. In other words you are compromising a shorter life for a longer one.
