I soak my feet in coldish water w/ a couple drops of lavender oil to cool down in this hot weather . It also soothes my achy feet at the end of the day
I have been watching the sky & clouds each day as a way to stop and relax a moment or two in my busy day
When returning bottles, I take the change & throw it all in a container...no tallying til the container is fullish
Am always amazed at the amount when I get to the counting stage
bEFORE DIVING INTO The cookie jar, cheese brick, or box of ice cream(etc, etc)..I keep a glass on the counter to remind myself to have that drink of water FIRST!
Quite often, the urge to graze goes away
TRYING to "hear" my husband when he talks can be a challenge sometimes...that is when I have to tune into my "be in the present moment " stage: Look at him & allow the words to register to my brain cells...it is oftenworth the effort for a better relationship
I must say that I don't go foraging for food during the hours I am logged onto SparkPeople. Very easy to stay away from the cupboards as I am learning so much on this site!
I do dialysis 5 days a week. When I hook up (at my house) I log onto to SparkPeople and start learning and planning my day with the help of the site. The dialysis is soon over & I have used the time wisely and productively!
