Ladies in Heels

Ladies, remember to walk around in heels! I went on vacation and didn't really have any place or time to workout. So I thought about it. While I was boosting my self-esteem, I decided to walk around in the comfortable heels. This way I still worked my legs, especially my calves

Take the Steps

Take the Steps....Take the Steps....Take the Steps
Taking the steps allows you to get some exercise in throughout your busy work day. Use the policy of always taking the steps.

For example,
If you have a meeting at work on the 9th floor (and you are on the 3nd) leave a little earlier and take the steps!!!

Vegetable snack!

I was really hungry last night and a bag of Sour Cream and Onion potato chips were just screaming at me. However, I decided to cook a can of string beans (french cut) instead. It took only 5 minutes and I was satisfied.
When hungry for a snack its filling to grab fruit or in my case a can of veggies!

Why park close???

Why park close to the door? Parking futher away allows you to get a few extra steps in towards those 10,000 steps a day (goal that I set for myself). Also, it helps with those drivers (and some passengers) who like to nick your car with their car doors.

Pack Lunch

Packing your lunch not only saves you money, but it helps you to eat healthier while at work. For those of us with desk jobs, this is crucial. I often have had the issue with snacking and first visit was to the vending machine. Now I pack 2 apples, tangerine, rice cakes, and other healthy foods!
