I was in a plateau from June 2012 till about October 2012 - stuck between a 3lbs range! I was running almost every day all summer. I then got a new workout Wii game in October and wouldn't you know, my weight started to drop again! I was so into my running routine that I didn't change it up. My body got to used to it. I was basically maintaining. I wanted to continue to lose so I had to change my routine. I "always" try to change my routine every 4-8 weeks depending on how my body is feeling.
If you find yourself browsing the pantry or fridge for something to eat, but aren't sure what you want or what you can have to fit into your daily nutrition amounts....plan your meals! Before you go to bed, write down what you are going to have for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and 1-2 snack options. Post it on your fridge, on your pantry door, on your phone, in your office, anywhere that you may end up eating.
If you slip on healthy eating or skip an exercise, don't throw in the towel! Instead, find a way to get back on track that very same day, or as early as the next morning. Plan a healthy breakfast. Plan a 15 minute cardio workout. Eat some Freggies. Don't let one slip keep you from making great choices the rest of the day!
