I love love love these sandwich rounds! Use them for hamburger buns, sandwiches, toast, and PIZZA! Top a round with 1 T pizza sauce, sprinkle with low fat mozzarella, add your favorite toppings and heat in oven. Yummy & low cal to boot!
After I workout (especially do Cardio) I have this lasting energy that keeps me wanting to stay active for a good amount of time after I leave the gym. I take full advantage of this and plan my cleaning and chores for after gym time. That way I am still burning calories by actively cleaning!!!
Instead of throwing these away, you can stuff about six to seven grocery bags into each cylinder and keep one or two beneath each sink for easy access trash bags. Since most bathroom trash cans are small, these grocery bags are the perfect size and they are always handy!
One of the hardest things I have ever done is staying positive. I would believe anything bad about myself (stupid, fat, ugly etc....) until I met my wife. she was harder on herself than I was on myself. and that would tic me off. We finely talked before we got married and I told her that hearing her
What he said on this last show was profound....if you want to get off the last few pounds, then you have to get back to a regemented life style, count every calorie, exercise hard....you will lose the last pounds when you push!
Exercise is the key to feeling great. We all know that, but some days, we just don't feel motivated to move AT ALL. My trick, on those days, is to do at least the warm-up portion of the DVD, walking/running program, etc. Stop after that if you want, but I bet you won't!!
No need to buy the expensive 100 cal snacks I make my own. I weigh/measure nuts, fruits, cheese, etc. in snack bags or containers. Then I put all the snack bags in either a bowl in the refrigerator or in the fruit bowl on the counter. Healthy snacks are ready for me to GRAB and Go
Most of us have heard the tip to dip our fork into the salad dressing instead of pouring it on. I have started to use the same trick for syrup on pancakes/waffles and sauces (cheese etc) on vegetables. It gets the taste where you want it, you'll use way less...and your pancakes don't get soggy!!
I always run late in the mornings. To save time (and calories), when I buy a new box of cereal, I divide it into portion sizes in zipper sandwich bags. Then I put the individual bags back in the box. When I'm late, I can just grab a bag from the box and have the right amount. Works w/ snacks too!
I put measuring spoons in things like my sugar canister and my container of dry creamer etc. so when I have my coffee, I'm using accurate measuring instead of guessing. When I've guessed the amount before, I was surprised to realize I was putting in much more than I thought. Every calorie counts!!
