I use flavored vinegars (Pomegranate Vinegar, Black Currant vinegar) on salads as a "salad dressing" (I don't use oil). They have little calories and add an incredibly wonderful flavor to the salad.
I'm tired when I get home and all I want to do is sit on my will-sucking, comfy couch. Once I do, I lose motivation to do anything else. I now challenge myself that when I get home, I can't sit on that couch until I've done some sort of exercising! It's made a huge difference!
I only fill up my water bottle 8 oz at a time. When it's time to refill, I go to the water tap that's farthest from my desk at work. It's an easy way to add to your total step count for the day!
I use a heart monitor to make sure I'm exercising "enough" and not "too much". It helps keep me motivated to make sure I keep my heart rate up enough during exercising. It's really made a difference!
To stay on target with healthy shopping, I go to the baking aisle and pick up as many bags of sugar/flour to equal the amount of weight I've lost. It's amazing when you stand there holding all that extra weight and realize you've lost that much!
