Denying myself something completely doesn't work at all! I've learned to wean myself off of something. For example, one day, instead of using 2 packets of ranch dressing, I only used one. It was different, but I became accustomed to it and in the process, cut out more than 200 empty calories! Whatever you're trying to do -- lose weight, eat better, exercise more -- work your way to that goal. Depriving yourself of things will only make you want it more...and relapse too.
