Peanut Sauce

1/3 Cup Natural Peanut Butter
1/3 Cup Water
1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 Teaspoon Sugar
2 Tablespoons Soy Sauce
2 Tablespoons Lemon Juice
2-3 Shakes of Cayenne to taste

Place all ingredients in a bowl, stir well, and microwave for 30 seconds.

A high fiber diet

A high fiber diet (25-50 grams a day), in whole grains, cereal fiber, and magnesium rich foods can help keep blood sugars level. Eat nuts, add ground flaxseed to cereals, salads, eat air popped popcorn, 100% whole wheat bread, brown rice, lots of greens and veggies.

Eat Fruits until Lunch-then practice portion control until 8 pm

This is the only diet that I feel I can tolerate forever! I have tried everything, always losing the same 10 lbs and gaining them back. Now I am not bored because breakfast is a 5 fruit smoothie, then fruits only until noon. Afterwards, I eat whatever I want but I watch portion size & I drink water

Exercising and Testing.

Don't forget to Test Before and After Exercising. If it's low before or after, then eat something. If it's High before or after, then no need to eat.

Be Smart About Sugar

If your blood sugar is 120 or above you produce excessive insulin, which tells the body to store food as fat. Keep your blood sugar at around 90 to burn fat. Stay away from refined sugar (sucrose) and eat fruits instead (sugar in fructose form).

Organizing Tools in Your Garage

A new friend was visiting, & like a lot of guy visits we wound up in my garage. On entry, he became excited by how my tools were organized. Years ago I got tired of tracking down tools (sons, you know), so I bought a 4' x 8' pegboard, painted it gray & hung it next to my work table. I separated all my tools (screwdrivers, hammers, etc.) by category & hung them from the pegboard with hooks, from large to small. After hanging them, I traced an outline of each tool, then filled in the

WINDOW CLEANER

1/4-1/2 teaspoon liquid detergent
3 tablespoons vinegar
2 cups water
Spray bottle

Put all the ingredients into a spray bottle, shake it up a bit, and use as you would a commercial brand. The soap in this recipe is important. It cuts the wax residue from the commercial brands you might have used in the past.
