Remember that weight loss is a JOURNEY and no one is perfect. You WILL make mistakes. You WILL sometimes overeat. You WILL not work out. some days when you know you "should." That is all normal. And understandable. Don't berate yourself. Tell yourself, "OK I slipped. I won't do it again." Then mean it. That doesn't mean you starve and work out like a Marine. It means you return to your plan. When I believed these truths, I began to get healthy. And I started to learn how to stay that way!
At night i always feel like ice cream but I wanted to have something with less calories so I started drinking Diet Hot Chocolate. Its a great night snack and only 25 calories, keeps me full and nice to have during the winter. I add a tablespoon or 2 with sugar into it and a little skim milk to cool it down. Enjoy!
Losing weight is not easy, but with consistency and hard work baby YOU CAN DO IT! I know we all want Biggest Loser results but a realistic weight loss of 2-3 pounds per week is great! You have to be consistent with exercise AND with healthier eating, not a diet. Keep pressing, keep moving, GET SPARKED!
Okay I have been stuck for weeks and tried the no wheat whatsoever diet Dr. Davis suggested. See other posts. I lost 4lbs already. I am sure alot has to do with water weight..but 4lbs is a miracle when that scale didnt budge for weeks. My belly is shrinking. I am happy and will continue to do this and let every know how its working.
William Davis MD wrote the book& says you can lose faster if you have a wheat free diet with no hunger or health risk. He says wheat raises blood sugar more than sugar itself, & if you eliminate wheat from your diet it will stabilize blood sugar. They say his patients have lost 30 lbs in 30 days. He says wheat stimulates the production of the the hormone insulin that causes the bloodstream to have more triglycerides, so by cutting wheat you can solve the high cholesterol problems. Worth a try
I try not to say (or think) "I can't eat that. It's not on my diet." Instead I say "I choose not to eat that today." I usually allow myself one day a week to eat what i want (in moderation of course) and when that day comes around I think about what I really would like to have and often those things that sounded good at the time aren't even what I really want to spend the calories on.
