Since giving up wheat products I found a new best friend, Feta cheese. It adds a punch to salads and omelettes, and adds to my calcium intake, it is also fairly low in calories and sodium for the small amount you need for a big flavor boost.
Tired of the same old salad for lunch? When you make your usual salad Add 3 bean salad ,comes in a jar, and sprinkle feta cheese crumbles on top. This gives a whole new flavor to the same old bowl of tossed salad and adds a little calcium,plus ups the veggie total for the day.
I made a pot of thick 3 bean chili and had so much leftover.
I'm always watching T.V. when I should be workingout, I found if I get up the last 15 min. of the show at the climax or like when Rachel Ray cooks her daily meal, I walk in place doing my favorite walk it out moves while concentrating on the plot of the show and I have easily done a workout and usually continue on for an extra 10 or 15 minuets. I do this a couple of times throughout the day,
In this stressing economy it is easy to get depressed . Don't give up , take control and list everything you are worried about ,from most important to least and tackle them one by one.Open all bills mark on a calander the due dates of each bill,and throw out the junk mail. Call credit card companies to explain a hardship and you can usually get a lower rate or late charges removed. Being organized helps put things into perspective.
