Usually the only time I find I can control is before most human beings are awake and moving, so it's a great time to do my workouts. Plus there's no better feeling than hopping in a warm shower at 6:15 and knowing that my daily workout is already complete.
Going to a smorgasboard used to be a problem for me, i knew which foods would be best for my nutritional intake, but took too much. When I remembered to use the proper proportion of food groups to have on a plate, I did well!

I got this tip from Heloise months ago and never tried it until recently. When you buy ground meats, and separate them, push all the air from the ziplock bag and press the meat flat, like a sheet of paper, before closing. Not only does it save SO MUCH SPACE IN THE FREEZER, it literally thaws out within 30 minutes, so if you forget to lay it out in the morning to thaw, you can do it when you get in from work and it thaws while you shower or work out!
Being a teacher makes it very difficult for me to have the energy to exercise once i'm done with school. I have a pedometer in my pocket all day. Knowing I have the pedometer inspires me to walk around my classroom, and during my prep. I also invite teachers to go walk at the beach on friday's to celebrate the end of a working week.
