When my workouts start to become a chore, I throw in something new and different. This week it is Zumba, next week it could be a DVD workout or something on FIT TV.
There are days I just don't feel like exercising. But a little self talk can go a long way. I now have this SP voice in my head reminding me how much better I will feel about myself if I just go on for 5 more minutes, then 10, then before you know it - I've finished my workout.
This journey is about the most important person in your life - you. If you don't care for yourself, you can't care for anyone else. Love for others begins with loving yourself.

When planning a meal, think about the colors on your plate. One color meals are boring. For example, when making stir fry use RED bell peppers, zucchini (GREEN), PURPLE onion and chicken (WHITE). See how many colors of the rainbow you can include!
If you don't always feel like exercising when you start out just visualize the end goal. The vision board recommended by SparkPeople is a great tool. It takes time to adjust in the changes to your lifestyle. Be kind to yourself knowing you will get there because you want to get there.
