I find that if I pack my gym bag with a nice body scrub, some shampoo I like, special moisturizer etc to shower at the gym post workout, I am more motivated to get to the gym.
Make your next vacation all about exercise as well as relaxation. Do a hiking vacation of some national parks.
fill a pint glass (2 glasses of water) with water and drink before you do anything else. You will find that right after you wake up you are the most thirsty and can down a pint (or more!) of water very, very easily. You haven't had water for 8 hours and you body is happy to consume it! Try it and see!
Before I drink my coffee or eat anything I drink 1 bottle of water (most are 16.5 ounces, so I get my first 2 and a half glasses in right away) I was always told you should drink water before you put anything else in your body in the a.m. since you have gone at least 8 hours without water as it is.
I read it everyday and most things I know about, but a lot of times I find a feature/tool that I didn't know existed. Today I checked out the MySpark Summary under the reports tab. What a great tool to keep you on track!
I like to get together with my mom (or one of my friends) and make a big batch of soup. We chop up veggies and watch a good movie together and when the soup is done, we have a little and then put the rest in freezer bags. This really comes in handy when I come home from work starving and I just take it one out of the freezer, run it under hot water so I can get it out of the bag, and then heat it up! So good & very filling!!!
When I have phone calls to return, or want to call a friend I need to get back in touch with, I head outside with my cell phone and walk around the track at my local high school. I can measure it by time and distance too so I can enter it in my fitness tracker. Another huge benefit is that it is nice to catch up with an old friend that you "haven't had the time" to call and chat with!
