Make it a habit to talk during meals. Take a bite, put your fork down, chew. Now, say something before you pick up your fork again. the little pauses will stretch out the meal and make you feel fuller before you have eaten as much as if you just ate and ate and ate.
Every day, I adopt one of the motivational quotes that come across my desk and post it as my blog, sometimes adding pithy and appropriate comments. I then make a synopsis of the blog for the title and post the title in the huddle of each of my spark teams. This way, I am reminded of the motivational statement each time I post a huddle comment.
