When I am feeling down or depressed, or feeling as if my last ounce of motivation has evaporated. I log onto Spark People and read inspirational and motivating articles about fellow Sparkers. Or I read the blogs and messages about people who are having the same kind of feelings or day that I am .....the same problems and they made it through. It gives me the strength and courage to keep going, to stay motivated.
they really add up. It may only be ten minutes but ten minutes and ten there, and before you know it, you have gotten in over thirty minutes a day. get in some wall or counter crunches while you are in the kitchen, or do some leg lifts or leg circles while sitting watching tv. Of course, you could also be marching in place while you are seated. You will be amazed at how quicky the minutes mount up and do what exercise you love to do, because the time goes more quickly.
You are an important and crucial part of your continuing success. Your attitude, whether negative or positive may well be the determining factor in whether you move ahead in your journey of becoming healthier,. Dot't forget to give yourself credit for all the wonderful things you have already achieved. Don't focus on the negative things, but give yourself a pat on the back or a special reward. Remind yourself every morning just how special you are.

Most people are going to get off track from time to time but I find that if I put the mistake behind me, not beating myself up for it but moving forward and getting back on track, I keep control of the situation, not letting the mistake control me.
Knowing that you have diabetes is one thing, but accepting and working through the times of denial is another. It is very important that you talk with your physician as well as your dietitian and learn all about diabetes and how it will affect you.
Make sure that you test your blood glucose levels at least twice a day and preferably more. Just because it is low at one point during the day doesn't mean it will stay that way, especially if you have eaten several fruits.
