Workout videos on Netflix

If you can't get to the gym, fire up your Netflix account! Netflix has a ton of workout videos on there for streaming! All different lengths, types and varieties. So, no more excuses for why you can't work out! There are also websites out there that stream exercise videos, so you can search for those.

Failing to Plan is Planning to Fail

Planning is key to any weight loss plan. Weather it is going on line to research a menu before you go out to eat, or simply making your healthy meals on Sunday for the week ahead. I do this all the time and it keeps me on track for the week. When I get home for work if I have to try to figure out what I am going to make for dinner the chances of me making something quick and easy instead of healthy are much greater. By having it ready to heat I stay on my plan much more often!

Small, frequent meals

I have reduced the amount of food I eat at each meal and spread it out over the day. It actually makes me eat less, and I have already made it to goal weight. Just concerned about maintence. emoticon

Make Your Own Trail Mix

Make your own trail mix and save a lot of money. Buy your nuts, raisins, etc. in bulk. Then measure and mix yourself. Aside from saving money, you'll also be able to better calculate the nutrition. Then measure out into portions and you're all set to go!

A loss is a loss is a loss...

I lost 2.6 lbs today at weigh-in. Last week - my first week back on my program - I stayed the same; I was mad as h#$#3 to say the least . So, I thought this week I would have a 'big' loss....I was disappointed when I saw 'only' 2.6 lbs...but after a talk with myself, a talk with a good friend... a loss is a loss is a loss...it's better than gaining any day of the week!

Eat Unprocessed Food.

Try to stay away from the supposed "healthy" processed food. Instead, grill up some onions, tritip steak, red bell peppers, chicken, and zuccini for something truly healthy, but still with that amazing flavor.

Food that does contain chemicals is SO harmful.

Eat a handful of grapes! Eat some strawberries. Grill your own chicken!
It's yummy and healthy!

Walk the dog

When I go for a walk in the park, I take the dog and the children with me. I have noticed when we go for a walk like that the dog and the children end up going to bed earlier than normal!!
