When I stain an item of clothing with food, etc. I tie it in a loose knot before I put it in the hamper. Then when I am loading the washer I know which items need to be sprayed with a stain remover before I put them in the washer.
I save all printer sized paper that is blank on the back. When I go to print out recipes or some other informal piece that only I will see, I put these in my printer's paper tray and print . Saves lots of paper and hopefully trees.
When I feel like I really need something to eat and I want to wait until mealtime, I call someone on the phone that I enjoy talking to. It really helps to distract me so that I wait until mealtime to eat.
I find oatmeal before I go to bed fills me up and allows me to fall asleep.
It is filling and low cal.
