When you're running/biking/jogging/walki
ng/rowing/swimming
and you want to stop, just tell yourself to get to the next lamppost (or tree, or recycling bin, whatever's nearby). Do this again and again, and you'll end up going much further than you thought you could

Powdered protein Yuck no more!

Syntrax Nectars Whey protein powders taste delicious! WIth flavors like Cappuccino, strawberry and Peach (just to name a few of my favorites) they have a great taste. I add them to cereal, cottage cheese and as shakes. They have 23 gms of protein per serving, no fat and no carbs.

Set a timer for 15 minutes

Set a timer for 15 minutes and start quickly decluttering your living space. You can do this several times during the day and you'll see what a difference it'll make. You can get a lot done during those short bouts of organizing. That way, you can keep your place tidy without feeling ovelwhelmed.

Change your time zone

I missed logging in a couple of days because it was after 9:00 pm and I'm on the west coast. I just thought the website was on east coast time before I realized I could change my time zone in the planner section! emoticon

Did you know that besides calories, carbs, fats and protein your Nutrition tracker can track almost ANY vitamin and mineral you consume? And when you are done tracking for the day your Nutrition Feedback Report will contain the info about these vitamins and whether you had enough of them or not!!

Quit Smoking? Look younger.

Now that I am off the cigarettes for 1 1/2 years, I have decided to whiten the teeth as I have heard it takes a few years off your looks. I'm into Day 4 of Crest Advanced Seal Whitestrips, and it's just a little amazing - my white teeth are coming back!!

vacation success

On my last vacation, I brought my laptop (to track food, stay connected to SP, and to play my fitness dvd), my fitness shoes and some healthy snacks to eat on the trip. I stayed commited to my program, even while away!
