Blood Glucose Monitoring

I have found that to and keep my diabetes under tight control and my A1C levels below 6, I must monitor my blood glucose levels fasting in the morning and 2 hrs after lunch and supper and before my bedtime snack. That way I can plan my meals and snacks to keep my blood sugar levels within range.

Blood sugar control

To maintain my blood sugar when I am away from home, I carry a Nutrigrain bar in my purse and eat it for a snack.

Grocery Shopping

To save money when I go shopping I always make alist and NEVER buy anything that is not on that list and I only shop at value store like Walmart and Aldi's instead of commercial stores like Kroger's or Jay C.
