I love my fresh fruit, but I found I was wasting my money when the fruit would go bad before I could finish it. Now to save money if it gets close to browning or going bad I now fresh freeze it. Slice it into small peices and reuse the fresh frozen for smoothies or fruit salad as needed!!!
Don't open the Cupboard or Refrigerator until you've decided what you want. i.e. plan your snack before you look at the selections.
Then, your snack won't become a graze!
Create a repair center for clothes that need mending, toys that need batteries, things that need gluing, etc. That way unusable items aren't in general circulation, and you know where to look when you have time to tackle a project. This can be as simple as a basket in a closet.
Get rid of anything in your closet that no longer fits or you don't wear because you don't like it. Make a list, donate it to charity and get a receipt for an income tax deduction.
I did this before spreading on my bread and it thins it out and helps it last longer (ie one tablespoon goes alot further) I was excited to figure this one out

I've found that the plain Chobani greek yogurt tastes so much like sour cream that I use it on my baked potatoes or in mashed potatoes and on nacho's and taco's instead of sour cream. That way I up my protein intake and probiotic's without all the fat from sour cream!
