This is a new one for me. When I work out and I'm sore the next day, I go ahead and do a cardio workout. From what I read, it's a bad idea to do nothing at all, that will extend the amount of time you are sore. If you repeat what caused the soreness, it can make you weak. .
I have found that when I exercise first thing in the morning and eat a sensible breakfast, my eating choices are better all day long are much better. I eat slower and get full faster. I also stay fuller longer.
Create short term goals that will lead to the big goal you are trying to meet. Try to make your small goal realistic, time specific, and measurable. Don't say "I'll lose some weight soon", say "I want to lose 10 pounds in 2 months."
