We have a lemon tree that is pretty prolific, so I squeeze the juice and freeze it in ice trays. I keep the "lemon cubes" in a zippered freezer bag, and use them in my water bottle as well as in recipes.
I read an article that said it's the washing machine agitation that removes almost all soil from clothes. the writer said she had washed clothes with no detergent and they looked and smelled great! I still use a teaspoon of liquid detergent, but I buy detergent a lot less often...
If you hit a plateau or feel otherwise frustrated, load up canned goods or sacks of flour/sugar into plastic bags totalling the amount of weight you have lost to date and literally carry them up and down the steps - even 5 lbs feels heavy after a while - the physical reminder helps you see how far you have come.
I put a small, set amount from each check in a seprate savings account before I even do my budget, then forget about it. Increase the amount with each raise! I started out with just the total amount over the nearest hundred..it all adds up!
