Using the nutrition tracker - a word of caution

If accurate tracking is important to you, be careful when selecting a food from the search menu. A lot of items are entered by members, and not everyone is as accurate or as complete as they could be. The best way to be sure of the calories you eat is to research for yourself and build your own list of favorites.

Tracking the snacking

A great way to cope with tracking all those mindless munchies is to make a daily snack box. It doesn't have to be all healthy food, it's better to be realistic. If you're going to hit the biscuits or chocolate anyway, include it in the box.

Alternative to mashed potato

Mashed parsnip makes a great lower calorie alternative to mashed potato.

Either mix half and half potato and parsnip, or substitute altogther.

Squeezing in those extra cardio minutes

One trick I've learnt to keep my stamina going during cardio.

I always put my favorite song (or the one I specially feel like listening to that day) at the END of my play list.

Don't finish the planned workout, don't get to listen to the song. No cheating.

Usually makes me see it through to the end.
