Count The Ingredients

Counting the ingredients in the food you eat will help you avoid high fructose corn syrup and other additives that do nothing to keep you going healthy and strong. Avoiding these additives will also help you ease indigestion and other nasty things. If a food has more than 20 ingredients, don't eat it at all. If it has more than 10, eat it rarely.

Saving Oil

Oil will go bad quicker if you have it exposed to light, heat or air, so even though it's tempting to keep it out near the stove because you need to use it, put it in a cool, dark part of your pantry instead. It will last much longer.

Spaghetti Serving

I never understood how you can get a precise spaghetti serving amount from the sizes given (2 oz, 1/8 of a box, 1/2 cup) - it made no sense to me! **If you love spaghetti, remember that a single serving is 32 full strands of spaghetti.**

If you like Sunflower Seeds...

Go for the shelled ones instead of the cleaned seeds. It feels like I'm eating them for a longer amount of time (if I'm watching a movie or TV) but turns out, I'm actually consuming less than the serving amount because of the amount of time it takes to crack them open. It's like I tricked myself. :)
