A fruits and veggies detox is a GREAT way to lose some weight quicky if you can't get motivated (like I was) and it has TWO FOLDED BENEFITS, not only to you lose the weight but since you're off sugar, breads, pasta, rice all those carbs, all dairy, salt and caffine --
I made a commitment to shop, wash, dry and cut up my veggies as soon as I came home from the supermarket -- I did and it's working out GREAT!!! Then I took another day and grilled all my proteins, chicken, fish, turkey burgers and pan fried scallop -- NO MORE EXCUSES to NOT EAT healthy!!
I make creamy salad dressings by using 0% Greek Yogurt and then I thin it out with some vinegar and olive oil. So the other day I mixed some yogurt with dry ranch dressing and then thinned it out -- DELICIOUS and VERY LOW CAL, just the olive oil counts!! YUM!!!
I'm telling EVERYONE I know about SP because it's SO MUCH BETTER TIME SPENT on the computer than Facebook!!! At least you're doing SOMETHING for YOURSELF to help BETTER yourself, whether it's losing weight or exercsing more -- it's a TOTAL SUPPORT site!!!
If I feel like snacking I chew some gum first, it usually squashes the craving, then I try drinking water. Sometimes I'm just thirsty or feel the need to chew and it turns off the cravings!!! If I still feel hungry down the road then I will grab a snack but I usually wait and see first -- IT WORKS!
Plan your work, work your plan OR the other way around would be plan to fail, fail to plan!!! ORAGNIZATION is the KEY to SUCCESS! Keep GOOD snacks on HAND ALWAYS, cut up all veggies AS SOON AS YOU GET THEM HOME and COOK your greens as soon as you get home too!! Then you have NO EXCUSES!!!
