My husband is never ready to leave work when I am but we are trying to car pool. It is 1.5 miles to his office. In order to get in as much movement as possible, I leave work and walk to his office. Usually, he is almost ready to leave when i get there. I used to wait for him and waste that 30-40 mns plus his time coming to pick me up.
My husband likes the saying if Momma aint happy aint no one happy. It is important to have me time. I plan time for myself every day to ensure I get my exercise in. If I take time for myself I have more to give to others in my role as mom,etc
When I go to bed at night I think about what I will do for exercise the next day. I visualize myself doing the zumba class or exercise dvd. I also find if I plan my meals and take all my food to work I do not feel deprived or like I will be hungry and I have all the best choices with me.
