When I am craving chocolate or other food & have already had enough, I brush my teeth. I don't want to ruin a clean mouth!
When I eat my favorite treat (Hershey's Special Dark Kisses), I take 3 at a time (about 1 WW Point). I try to only eat 9 total. To help me do that, I leave the empty wrappers on the table, so that I remember that I have eaten enough!
I recently read this tip: When facing down a temptation (a slice of chocolate cake, a cigarette, etc.), clench your fist. That action seems to help with will-power/resolve in the moment. But, according to the author, it only works when you have the temptation right in front of you.
When I walk my boys to school, I wear my running shoes & clothes, instead of sandals. That way, I feel ready to exercise. I'll either extend my walk or dance or do yoga at home - No excuses, since I'm already dressed for it.
