Daily Water Intake

At the 99 cent store over in the next city from where I live, they sell these containers for water. They advertise this container should be enough for our daily intake of water (8 cups? glasses?). It makes things easier for me. I drink all of it, and I'm assuming I'm getting my needed water. Purcha...

Reading: understanding your issues

Understanding the reason for my overeating is very important to me. Reading books on this subject also helps me feel that I'm not alone in what I am going through. I've read articles and things on overeating, read books on emotional eating, etc. Books at the library are free. Read On!

Feeling Full Faster

I did this whenever I was eating one of my required 3 meals for the day. Gulp down as much water as possible in between bites. The key was to drink as much water I could before the next bite. This made me full really fast, even before everything was finished on my plate.

Have a 'treat' day

I allow myself one 'treat' day where I give in to satisfy my cravings and eat whatever I feel. After this day I am back on track for the rest of the week. This is to relieve the deprivation that usually comes with dieting.

I look at my Flab

Before I head down for breakfast, I will look myself just in my undies in front of the mirror. The flab on my tummy is a reminder that I shouldn't overeat. I also have photos of myself and my large tummy that I occasionally look through while eating my meals.
