The Bible

Yes! Reading the bible every time you are hungry really satisfies the soul and it is food that will not make you put on the pounds! I have completely lost my hunger cravings since I have put reading the word first! Not a joke, try it! Takes time but after awhile you can go with out meals and not notice!

CALORIE SHIFTING

Shifting calories and food groups helps to raise metabolism. Example: 1600, 1200, 1200, 1500, 1200, 1600 on off days, then veggie day, fruit days etc.. This increases fat burn!

WATCH MOTIVATIONAL YOUTUBE VIDEOS

When I get down, I go to youtube and watch inspirational videos such as 80 year old figure skating and things like the paraolympics. Also, on youtube the stories from I AM SECOND are testimonies of "overcoming" stories from hardships such as cancer... it reminds me ..... that life is more than a number on a scale...

Give yourself GRACE

I am not saying slack off but I do think its important to give ourselves one GRACE day where we don't have to follow rules or be perfect. If we know we can give ourselves one day a week like this than it is less likely that we will slack off for longer periods of time. When you do have a hard day... give yourself grace to forget the calories and lack of exercise. Every day is new with no mistakes in it so live it like yesterday didn't exist!

STRESS KILLERS

Today I am feeling stressed so I started thinking and researching about all the things that will reduce the stress I am facing. Below is a list of Stress Killers.

1. Eat high energy foods!!
2. Eat lots of fruits and veggies
3. DRINK DRINK DRINK COLD WATER
4. Journal about lies you are feeling or thinking
5. Rewire your thinking with healthy "I can statements..."
6. Grieve-crying is a healthy way to let go of stress and heal from unhealthy toxins...

REWIRE YOUR THOUGHTS

I have found that I have had to write down all the unhealthy lies that I had been believing about eating and working out.I than replaced it with a healthy thought that I could meditate on. Now, every time a negative thought pops up in my head, I replace it with a rewired thought. Example: "Loving myself is not eating comfort foods.... Loving myself is eating healthy and exercising."

FOCUS ON LIFE VS. SCALE

My good friend was just diagnosed with cancer and well it put things in perspective. She is very fit and healthy, no one saw it coming. Life is short and stress only adds weight so enjoy the good stuff. We are so fortunate to be alive and well and to not have other issues. Think of things to be grateful and focus on your accomplishments rather than the setbacks or stagnant waters of a scale. Be positive, reflect on better weeks and focus on enjoying life to its fullest!

ALDI'S

Go to the market store Aldi's they have everything for half the price of Walmart and healthier foods as well. I can get a carton of eggs for 76 cents and bag of apples for less than 2.00 dollars. I save 50.00 or more a month going there!! Check it out!
