My 9 year old, my husband & our foreign exchange student are always asking where is. So I labeled what is inside each kitchen cabinet and put the label on the inside of each cabinet door. This has helped things returned to the right place as well as a quick find and we're all on the same page as to where things go.
I have a small note book that I have written down positive self-talk statements. I go over them 3 times a day and when I find myself say something unacceptable, I replace it with one of my positive self-talk statements. It really is making a difference. I am seeing the change in me!!
De-cluttering my kitchen was so much easier then I established work areas--one area for baking (just baking needs in this area) cooking area (just cooking need here); making lunches, etc. Now my kitchen flows better and easier, plus I have only what I need. It is now de-cluttered.
