Place baking soda in a clean, empty plastic spice jar. Sprinkle on carpets, pillows and fabric furnishings before vaccuming for freshness. Store uncapped in your icebox or freezer to absorb odors. Later, use the baking soda as a gentle cleanser for countertops or your microwave.
Instead of using noodles, use eggplant slices. You can par boil them for a minute remove and start to layer. Ricotta cheese is low fat, has omega 3's for your brain and heart, calcium and protein. Add green bell pepper, chopped onion, and olives as you layer with some ricotta, parm, and tomato sauce. Yummy!
When a big craving hits, I go into my closet and start organizing, clothes closets are always messy and for the more organized, start cleaning bathrooms, floors etc..its great exercise and the smell of the cleaning solutions stops my cravings!
Have you ever tried the margarita jello mixed with some lime juice and sugar free cool whip? You pour it into a 9x13 pan and sprinkle some lime zest on top. Cut in little squares and it's delicious on a hot summer day. For an adult treat, add a little tequila to the mix! One of my favorite treats, although the jello seems to be seasonal. Hope they bring it out soon! It's so hot here and would be great for the holiday weekend.

I often ignore things on my to-do list for weeks. So I try to accomplish just 3 things every day. It can be whatever 3 things from my to-do list I want; it's an easier target than doing everything; if I get them done early it motivates me to do more; It sets me up to over-accomplish and feel good rather than disappoint myself.
