If you pig-out on food, you must do three things in order to make sure that food doesn't head straight for where you store the most bodyfat...1. Sweat a bit. 2. Protein and produce 3. Repeat the next day
Sometimes we accidently let our minds run off with unwanted issues we need to deal with...making them more stressful/scary than they may be.The more we focus on the negative (what if's) & assume negative (reactions), the more it affects us negatively. CALM your mind. YOU CAN take charge of it calmly, peacefully, LEAD interactions & affect outcomes through YOUR behavior, words & actions. Stay in positive control of your mind. Aim to enter it in as relaxed state as you can.
What I like to do. Is when I am doing any housework. I turn the cable box off. (tv is my stereo) put my playlist on from my hubby PS3. Nothing soft or ballady. Something that really gets me moving. So while doing housework I am getting a little bit of cardio in too. I dance. Do a little dance (headbang, mosh, Charleston) choose your poison. Just make the housecleaning more fun and to your advantage.
I was tired of sitting at my desk ALL day with very little activity. So I founded a walking club at work! Also, each time I get up to use the bathroom, I do a set of an exercise I choose at the beginning of the day. Air squats, pushups, burpees. It keeps me moving!
I love vegetables but my husband does not. So to take care of him and satisfy my need, I chop them up very small and add as many of them as I can whenever I can. He can't pick them out but they are a part of our menu. He often does not know they are there and therefore does not complain.
