Good Morning!

For me, I'm finding the best time to walk my favorite route is when the sun is rising. My goal has been to get there just before the sun comes up but haven't made it yet. The pluses? There's more "Good Morning" (friendlier people) in the morning, there's less people using the route, the birds are singing, less traffic, and it's just a great way to start the day, before anything else interferes. emoticon

Silver Lining

Look for the silver lining in every cloud or look on the bright side or with lemons, make lemonade or strive for: the glass is half full, instead of half empty or don't worry, be happy. I'm sure there's more sayings but basically we can choose to stay positive or not. emoticon

Stop that Night Time Snacking

One recent discovery is: I eat when I'm tired - night time being the most intense. When I listen to my body saying "tired" and go to bed, I avoid the added calorie intake and get a decent night's sleep. emoticon

Want or Need?

One of the very first tools I used to help me get my finances in order was, "Is it a want or a need?" This stopped a lot of instant gratification buys that weren't necessary. Most of the time, the "want" goes away. If the "want" stays on my list for quite awhile then I can re-evaluate whether it might be a need, after all. This question has saved me a lot of money in all areas of my life. emoticon
