if you have a cat take the used coffee grinds and tea grinds and sew them in a pouch. Any used scrap of material will do. Cats take to them like they do catnip. I had a cat that loved it and I didn't have to buy the catnip.
My diabetic nutrionalist said to have small amounts of candy or something sweet in order to satisfy the sweet tooth. I have the minature candy bars usually 1 but sometimes 2 and its enough to satisfy my sweet tooth sometimes for days. It's enough to keep me from binging on sweet things.
